Sports and Wellness Hub

Boasting a full gym, 25m swimming pool, squash courts, multi purpose halls, a climbing centre and more, Warwick University is a diverse venue. Plus, it’s also home to a unique eSports centre where 24 desktops with lightning-fast connectivity allow players to engage with the exciting world of competitive gaming. Facilities include:

  • 15m climbing wall
  • Tennis centre with indoor and outdoor courts

Tocil Wood and Nature Reserve

Tocil Wood is ancient woodland located between Tocil Pools and the new Gibbet Hill Wood. The path and cycle track from the main University site to the Gibbet Hill site goes past all three. Tocil Wood is an ancient oak woodland with swamp and wet meadow which has existed for many centuries. This nature reserve is owned by Coventry City Council and managed by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. The reserve is good for migrant warblers and over 60 species of birds have been recorded.

Warwick Arts Centre

Warwick Arts Centre is a multi-venue arts complex at the University of Warwick in Coventry, England. It attracts around 300,000 visitors a year to over 3,000 individual events embracing all types of theatre and performance, contemporary and classical music, dance, comedy, visual art, films, talks and family events. Warwick Arts Centre is the largest arts centre in the Midlands, and the largest venue of its kind in the UK outside the Barbican Centre in London. Warwick Arts Centre consists of numerous spaces on the same site, including a large concert hall, theatre, three cinemas, art gallery (Mead Gallery), Helen Martin Studio and conference room, as well as learning space, hospitality suites, a café and bars.
