| ITER Organization |
| Dr. MOON, Sunwoo joined ITER as a postdoc researcher for the research project on the ELM-induced heat load and its impact on the ITER first wall. He is a member of ITPA DSOL regarding the topic. He received his PhD from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden for plasma-wall interaction such as JET optical diagnostic mirror surface analysis, KSTAR tungsten castellation gap deposition, JET dust analysis, and TOMAS ToF-NPA development at FJZ. During his PhD, he was a visiting student at Uppsala University doing accelerator-based ion-beam analysis for fusion material. He previously worked at the Max-Planck Institute Chemical Physics of Solids (2016), KIST Europe (2013-2016), and completed a bachelor study in physics at Yonsei University (2003-2011) and a master study in material science at Korea University (2011-2013). |
